Afghan Women's Policy Collective

The Afghan Women’s Policy Collective, chaired by GIWPS Senior Fellow Palwasha Hassan, is a core component of the Institute’s Onward for Afghan Women initiative that advances efforts to center Afghan women in all global policymaking by elevating and equipping Afghan women leaders with opportunities to continue their advocacy on behalf of Afghan women and girls.

The Policy Collective serves as a platform to bring together Afghan women leaders with diverse careers in government and civil society to discuss and collaborate on a range of topics including humanitarian and development assistance, as well as human rights, the economy, the role of regional countries, engagement with the Taliban, and the country’s future governance.
